Certification Programs

Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Turkish Education Directorate carries out certification programs in context of teacher training efforts. As teaching of Turkish as a foreign language is a distinctive field of specialization, educating instructors to specialize in this area equipped with modern foreign language teaching approach, method and techniques are among primary objectives of Yunus Emre Enstitüsü. Teaching candidates receive applied training by participating in language instruction classes in certification programs conducted in collaboration with various universities. The aim is to equip teaching candidates with theoretical knowledge in seminar courses given by field experts and academicians. Successful candidates receive "Certificate of Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language". In addition to the certification programs, Yunus Emre Enstitüsü also organizes in-service training programs for teachers in the field, both in Turkey and abroad.
