Placement Tests

Placement Tests (PTs) are tests developed by the Yunus Emre Institute Exam Center for assessing and determining the language level and proficiency of individuals learning Turkish as a foreign or native language. In accordance with the proficiency definitions of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, the exam consists of three sections, and can be performed at the A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1 levels.

The first section of the test involves reading activities lasting 90 minutes; the second section involves written expression activities lasting 30 minutes; and the third section involves verbal expression activities lasting 10 minutes. Together, the three sections of the test last 130 minutes
