Marbling Workshop for Children in Mostar

Mostar Yunus Emre Institute held a marbling workshop with the students of JU Mjesovćta Srednja Škola Secondary School on February 26th, 2024, in the sister city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina in cooperation with Kayseri Vocational Education and Culture Inc., which operates within the body of Mostar Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality (KAYMEK).

A visit to Mostar Yunus Emre Institute was organized by students learning Turkish at JU Mjesovćta Srednja Škola Secondary School and their Turkish teachers. During the visit, information was given about Mostar Yunus Emre Institute and KAYMEK Mostar activities. Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality. A marbling workshop was organized with students in Mostar, the sister city in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Students who came to Mostar within the framework of the visit attended a marbling workshop. While students learned practically what kind of materials are used for marbling, information about marbling, one of the traditional arts, was also explained in the workshops. After the marbling workshop, students and teacher were served food and tea.

While the metropolitan municipality continues to build a bridge of love and friendship with its sister city, it continues courses to recognize and keep alive traditional handicrafts, one of the common values of the cultures of the two countries.
