The exhibition was organized by Yunus Emre Institute (YEI) under the auspices of the Turkish Embassy in Islamabad, in collaboration with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation's Research Center for Islamic History, Art and Culture (IRCICA) and Lok Virsa National Folk and Traditional Heritage Institute.

Pakistani politician and senator Irfan Siddiqui, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture of Pakistan Hasan Nasir Jamy, former Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesperson and Ambassador to Ankara Sohail Mahmood, Turkish business people and institution representatives and other guests attended the opening of the exhibition.

The "Historical Jerusalem Photographs" exhibition included photographs of the holy places, especially Jerusalem, taken during the reign of Sultan Abdulhamid II. With this exhibition, attention was drawn to what is currently happening in Gaza and Palestine.

In the "Turkish-Islamic Calligraphy Arts" exhibition, the works that won awards in the calligraphy competitions organized by IRCICA in previous years were brought together with Pakistani art lovers.
